Home Care Team Lead

We're seeking a dedicated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to join our team at St Marks Care Home in Maidenhead. As a vital member of our home, you'll play a key role in delivering exceptional care to our residents and inspiring your colleagues to do the same.
As a Senior Care Assistant with Bupa, you'll have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of others. You'll be responsible for leading by example, supporting the nurse with clinical duties, and driving the development of your team. Key aspects of this role include:
- Day-to-day responsibility for running a unit, ensuring seamless care delivery and resident satisfaction
- Supporting the nurse with clinical duties, including observing, administering medication, reviewing care plans, and maintaining accurate records
- Leading and managing a team of Care Assistants, facilitating shift handovers, and providing guidance on best practices
- Contributing to the recruitment and induction of new staff members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment
- Maintaining effective relationships with residents, their families, and external partners such as GPs and District Nurses
- Assisting residents with personal care needs, promoting independence, and enhancing their overall quality of life
To excel in this position, you'll require:
- A completed or working NVQ3 in care, with a willingness to support others in achieving their qualification if needed
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a passion for making a meaningful impact on people's lives
- Prior experience in the role, knowledge of its rewards and challenges, and a deep understanding of what it takes to thrive in this field

The estimated salary for this role is £11.95 - £13.54 per hour, dependent on experience.
