About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional individual to join our Dermatology team as a Clinical Research Fellow. This is a full-time position, Monday to Friday, with a 50:50 split between clinical and academic commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Conduct clinical work in Dermatology, aiming to become competitive for a national dermatology training number.
  2. Organize and manage patient diagnosis and treatment in Yeovil District Hospital and/or Musgrove Park Hospital, in collaboration with Consultant colleagues.
  3. Teach foundation and doctors-in-training in clinic, as well as medical students.
  4. Evidence commitment to Continuing Professional Development, undertaking relevant courses.
  5. Experience working in the UK or EU healthcare system or equivalent.
  6. Completed Foundation Year 1 and 2 in the UK or equivalent.
  7. Minimum 3 years' experience post-graduate training.
  8. Driving license or ability to travel between sites.
Desirable Qualifications
  1. MRCP II + PACES
  2. Evidence of commitment to pursue a career in Dermatology.
  3. Evidence of interest and experience in teaching appropriate to Medical students and Doctors in training and the multidisciplinary team.
