Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Clinical Research Fellow to join our Dermatology team at Somerset NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting clinical research and contributing to the development of new treatments for skin health.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct clinical research and participate in the diagnosis and treatment of patients with skin conditions.
  • Teach and mentor medical students and doctors-in-training in clinic and academic settings.
  • Develop and implement research projects to improve patient outcomes and advance the field of dermatology.
  • Collaborate with Consultant colleagues and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in Continuing Professional Development to stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices.
Requirements
  • Completed Foundation Year 1 and 2 in the UK or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience post-graduate training.
  • Driving license or ability to travel between sites.
  • Evidence of commitment to pursuing a career in dermatology.
  • Evidence of interest and experience in teaching and research.
