This role requires the successful candidate to provide high-quality, patient-centered care to women and their families in the community.

Main Responsibilities
  • To assess, implement, and evaluate programmes of antenatal, intrapartum, postnatal, and neonatal care for women and babies (within their family unit) in line with current evidence, Trust policies, guidelines, and the Code.
  • Provide appropriate advice, knowledge, and counselling to women and their partners regarding all aspects of antenatal, intrapartum (including home births), and postpartum care.
  • To act as an advocate for the women and babies receiving maternity care.

The ideal candidate will have recent experience in all aspects of midwifery practice and be able to demonstrate competence in fetal monitoring, effective management of obstetric emergencies, and key issues relating to safeguarding. The salary range for this position is **£37,338 to £44,962** per annum pro rata, depending on qualifications and experience.
