">Job Description
">We have a new opportunity for an Operations Engineer to join our team in supporting our Net Zero goals. Reporting directly to the Lead Operations Engineer, you would co-ordinate the safe and efficient delivery of work activities on our transmission network assets.
">Your key responsibilities will include:
">- Planning, scheduling, resourcing, successful delivery and reporting of inspection & maintenance activities.
- Representing operations interests and assisting in capital project delivery, ensuring safe and effective delivery of new asset substations, cables and overhead lines.
- Managing electrical outages, managing safety from the system and setting to work on several different asset types. Assets such as: substation plant, underground cables and overhead lines.
- All scheduled and emergency activities i.e. response and rectification of system faults shall be carried out to the latest internal policy and procedures.
- Leading and promoting a safe working environment and culture throughout the team.
Salary
">The salary for this role is £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
