Employee Relations Role

This 15-month fixed-term contract offers an exciting opportunity to join the CBRE team in Manchester as an HR specialist.

Job Description

  • Deliver expert HR advice and guidance to employees and managers, promoting effective communication.
  • Support the HR Business Partner in administering policies and procedures, including leaver processing and exit interviews.
  • Manage employee relations caseload, providing commercial guidance to employees and managers.
  • Oversee maternity/paternity leave administration, including risk assessments and flexible working requests.
  • Drive business insights through data analysis and reporting.
  • Maintain accurate records in myHR (Peoplesoft), ensuring data quality for Service Lines.
  • Collaborate with the Business Partner on annual People processes, such as promotions and appraisals.
  • Develop and maintain policies & procedures within the People Department, contributing to wider UK business initiatives.
  • Provide People support to CBRE projects and initiatives.
  • Complete ad hoc tasks as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or equivalent qualification.
  • Generalist HR / People Advisor experience.
  • Expertise in UK employment law and employee relations.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency, especially Excel, and experience with HR systems.

Compensation Package: The salary range for this position is estimated to be around £40,625 - £51,250 per annum, based on experience.
