Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Marshall. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will be responsible for leading a team of team leaders and ensuring the smooth execution of production processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of team leaders to achieve production targets and key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Manage and control production schedules, budgets, and technical documentation
  • Coordinate with the planning department to maintain delivery targets and ensure quality standards are met
  • Provide leadership and support to team members, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management
  • Ensure a safe working environment by promoting a culture of safety and conducting regular safety audits
  • Implement and maintain 5S practices and ensure adherence to local policies and procedures
  • Build and maintain relationships with team members, stakeholders, and external partners
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and identify opportunities for process optimization
Requirements
  • Expertise in manufacturing and assembly processes and techniques
  • Understanding of production methods and processes
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and associated design data
  • Competent written and verbal skills
  • IT skills, including Microsoft Office and MRP
  • Management skills and ability to communicate and lead a team
  • IOSH Managing Safely certification or equivalent
Education and Experience
  • City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent in Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting, or a related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing or assembly environment, with a focus on leadership and team management

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with team members and stakeholders
