Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Marshall Group. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for leading a team of production staff and ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead a team of production staff, providing guidance, support, and coaching to ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their roles effectively.
  • Production Planning and Control: Plan and control production schedules, ensuring that deadlines are met and production targets are achieved.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards, identifying and implementing improvements to processes and procedures as needed.
  • Safety and Health: Promote a safe working environment, ensuring that all staff are aware of and comply with health and safety procedures and regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements
  • Manufacturing and Assembly Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing and assembly processes, with a strong understanding of production methods and techniques.
  • Leadership and Management Skills: Ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software, with a strong understanding of engineering drawings and design data.
  • Education and Qualifications: City and Guilds Apprenticeship or equivalent in Vehicle Body Building, Mechanical Fitting, or a Manufacturing and Assembly Qualification.
