Learning and Behaviour Specialist

We are committed to providing an engaging and supportive environment for all students at Protocol Education. As a Learning and Behaviour Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting students with Autism (ASC), Social, Emotional & Mental Health Needs (SEMH), Complex Learning Disabilities, or have been identified as having a statement of an Educational Need or an Educational Health Care Plan (EHCP).
You will be working 1:1 or in groups with students, following the school curriculum and with the support of the Classroom Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Psychology, Criminology, and Psychotherapy or any other relevant degree, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining strong relationships with staff, students, parents, governors, professionals, and the local community. They will also be able to provide individualised support to students, adapting to their individual needs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Degree in Psychology, Criminology, and Psychotherapy or any other relevant degree
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to create and maintain strong relationships
- Adaptable and able to provide individualised support
Benefits
We offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service.
