We're looking for a skilled Regional Growth Development Officer to help us achieve our growth ambitions in North Yorkshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with local volunteers and our Growth & Communities team to open new sections and recruit volunteers in underrepresented communities.
  • Form productive partnerships with key volunteers and support the wider work of the Growth & Communities Team, Volunteering Operations Department, and Operations and Strategy & Transformation Directorates.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the national Growth and Communities Team, focusing on growth for North Yorkshire Scouts. You'll be working under the underrepresented fund, which aims to accelerate growth in underrepresented communities across the UK by employing dedicated Local Growth Officers.

The fund is focused on creating opportunities for young people in IMD 1-3 and volunteers from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities to join Scouts.

What You'll Need:

  • Proven experience in community outreach and development.
  • Strong communication and partnership-building skills.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
