pAs a key member of The Scouts Association, you will play a vital role in driving growth and community development in North Yorkshire./ppThe successful candidate will be responsible for forming productive partnerships with local volunteers and supporting the wider work of the Growth & Communities Team, Volunteering Operations Department, and Operations and Strategy & Transformation Directorates at Scouts./ppWorking under the underrepresented fund, you will help accelerate growth in underrepresented communities across the UK by employing dedicated Local Growth Officers to work with volunteers to open new sections and recruit volunteers in communities where Scouting doesn't currently take place./ppThe fund is focused on creating opportunities for young people in IMD 1-3 and volunteers from Black, Asian, and minority ethnic communities to join Scouts./ppYou will be responsible for:/pulliForming productive partnerships with local volunteers/liliSupporting the wider work of the Growth & Communities Team/liliWorking with volunteers to open new sections and recruit volunteers/li/ulpKey skills and qualifications include:/pulliExcellent communication and interpersonal skills/liliAbility to work collaboratively with volunteers and stakeholders/liliStrong organizational and time management skills/li/ulpAs a member of The Scouts Association, you will have access to a range of benefits, including:/pulliOpportunities for professional development and training/liliA supportive and inclusive work environment/liliA competitive salary and benefits package/li/ul
