We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team at Academics Ltd. As a Mental Health Support Specialist, you will work closely with our team of therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to provide support to children with social, emotional, and mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide emotional and mental health support to children with complex needs
- Work closely with our team of therapists, counsellors, and psychologists to develop and implement individualized support plans
- Assist with the delivery of mental health interventions and therapies
- Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children's mental health
- Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures
Requirements:
- Graduate degree in a relevant field (e.g. Psychology, Counselling, Criminology)
- Experience working with children with complex needs and mental health issues
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
