About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Fall Protection Sales Specialist to join our team at the 3M Group.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales and margin targets by identifying and winning opportunities as required under a sales plan.
  • Work closely with end customers to advise and promote 3M Fall Protection Solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Distributor networks through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Ensure accurate communication of product updates and development to customers and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with 3M technical teams to provide on-site support and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Identify and share leads with 3M colleagues for products outside core specialism.
  • Stay up-to-date with market trends and competitor activity to provide valuable insights to the team.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date data within CRM systems.

Requirements

  • Good standard of education.
  • Strong knowledge of the Fall Protection market is essential.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
  • A self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong negotiation skills and numeracy.
  • Proficient in using IT tools, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Additional Desirable Skills

  • Passion for sales and exceeding targets.
  • Basic knowledge of related EN standards.
  • Awareness of Horizontal Systems Fall Protection training.

Travel and Location

This is a field-based sales role with an expectation to travel across the territory up to 75%.
