Nuclear Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Nuclear Operations Manager to join our team at National Nuclear Laboratory. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for managing the operational activities within our Remote Engineering, Design and Robotics team.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring safe and successful delivery of customer work scopes while driving continuous improvement of team activities. To achieve this, you will need to possess strong people management skills, providing guidance, coaching, and direction to team members with varying levels of experience in an engineering workplace.
You will also be accountable for EHSS&Q within your team, including duty of care for all staff, ownership and safe operations of equipment and facilities, delivery of projects, programs, and technical work, and delivery of the EHSS&Q Assurance and Improvement Plans.
In addition to your operational responsibilities, you will also support the Capability Leader with budgetary control associated with your team, measured against budget control through Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
