Job Title: Senior MS SQL Database Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior MS SQL Database Engineer to join our team at Nationwide Building Society. As a key member of our database administration team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and implementing database solutions that meet the needs of our business.

About the Role:

You will work closely with our development teams to ensure that our databases are optimized for performance, scalability, and security. Your expertise in SQL Server clustering, high availability, and AlwaysOn Availability Groups will be essential in ensuring that our databases are always available and performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements
  • Develop and maintain SQL Server databases, including database design, development, and deployment
  • Ensure database performance, scalability, and security
