Job Summary

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a substantive post as an Upper GI Clinical Nurse Specialist. We are seeking an individual with extensive knowledge and experience in the Upper GI specialty, who possesses the ability to work autonomously and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.

Main Duties

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality Specialist Nursing care to both inpatients and outpatients within the Upper GI specialty. This will involve acting as an expert resource for Nursing and Medical staff, providing advice, support, and education through clinical practice and evidence-based development.

The post holder will develop and sustain partnership working with individual groups, communities, and agencies. They will facilitate the planning and delivery of care programmes to address patient needs and develop/improve the service.
