**Job Description**

The University of Bristol is seeking an experienced Asbestos Compliance and Contracts Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all asbestos regulations and implementing an enhanced asbestos management plan across our estate.

This role requires a high level of expertise in asbestos management, including certified qualifications and significant experience in asbestos removal, remediation, and waste management.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Managing compliance officers and asbestos management contractors to ensure timely execution and documentation of statutory tasks.
  • Implementing an asbestos management plan to advance safety awareness and overseeing day-to-day contractor management.
  • Conducting compliance training and toolbox talks for the direct labour force to enhance awareness and safety in compliance testing.
  • Leading quarterly contractor meetings to review KPIs, health and safety incidents, financial matters, and project updates.

**Salary and Benefits**

The estimated salary for this role is £42,632 to £47,874 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and a supportive working environment.
