Job Title: Clinical Trials Coordinator

We are seeking an experienced and organized Clinical Trials Coordinator to join our Research & Development department at University Hospitals Bristol NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Trials Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in supporting the planning, execution, and monitoring of clinical trials within our trust.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join our team and contribute to the delivery of high-quality clinical trials coordination. You will be responsible for coordinating study start-up activities, managing site initiation visits, and maintaining accurate records of trial data.

The successful candidate will have excellent organizational skills, a good understanding of clinical trials methodology, and up to date knowledge of current regulatory requirements and standards around clinical trials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate study start-up activities, including site selection and initiation
  • Manage site initiation visits and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Maintain accurate records of trial data, including participant information and study progress
  • Collaborate with investigators and research coordinators to ensure smooth trial execution

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Educated to degree level, with a degree in a relevant subject or equivalent level experience
  • Clinical trials coordination training or equivalent experience
  • Evidence of continuing professional development
