About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Support Engineer to join our team at Source & Connect. As an IT Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in maintaining, supporting, and enhancing our IT solutions to deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality support to users, ensuring prompt resolution of technical issues.
  • Administer systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security.
  • Contribute to the development of existing infrastructure and processes, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Work independently, meeting changing deadlines and adapting to evolving requirements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, colleagues, and stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated and driven to take initiative, with a strong work ethic and commitment to quality service.
  • Resourceful and able to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently, with a broad understanding of IT hardware, Windows, and Mac OS.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with experience in customer-facing IT support and a full UK driving license.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with Group Policy, Virtual Desktops, and TCP/IP Protocols.
  • Knowledge of Active Directory and monitoring systems, with an ITIL Foundation certification.
  • Ability to implement and document good practices and processes, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.
