As an Import Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the logistics of goods entering the country. This position involves working during both early (6am-3pm) and late shifts (12pm-9pm) to ensure seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities- Flight Coordination: Responsible for booking flights with various airlines and agents to facilitate timely importation.
- Customs Documentation: Raising Export Customs Entries on the Customs Declaration Service (CDS) to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Goods Management: Overseeing the importation and exportation of specialized goods, including ATA Carnet and CITES items.
- Warehouse Support: Performing occasional duties in the warehouse as needed to support overall operations.
To excel in this role, candidates should possess:
- Previous experience in import and export administration.
- Familiarity with Customs Software, particularly Descartes, is preferred, although comprehensive training will be provided.
