About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Estate Administrator to join our team at Bucks and Berks Recruitment. As an Estate Administrator, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to our clients' private estate based near Henley on Thames.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to the estate team, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and managing correspondence.
  • Estate Property Services: Manage estate property services, including telephone line rental, internet, SKY, council tax, water, gas, and negotiating service renewal contracts.
  • Contractor Management: Book contractors in, in conjunction with the Site and Security Manager, to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Staff Administration: Maintain estate staff holiday records, manage vehicle fleet administration, and oversee mobile phone account administration.
  • Petty Cash Management: Manage estate petty cash and prepare monthly returns to accounts.
  • Health and Safety Administration: Assist with estate health and safety administration, in conjunction with the Estate Health and Safety Adviser.
  • Training and Development: Manage staff training schedules and book training sessions.
  • General Administration: Assist Principals with general administration tasks, including booking flights, taxis, and transport, as well as liaising with staff for driving tasks.
Requirements
  • Previous Administrative Experience: A minimum of 1 year of administrative experience is required.
  • Good IT Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other administrative software is essential.
  • Discreet and Trustworthy: The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information is crucial.
  • Good Team Player: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work effectively with the estate team.
  • Quick Learner: The ability to learn quickly and adapt to new situations is essential.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are required to effectively communicate with the estate team and Principals.
