Young People's Counselling Specialist

We are looking for a skilled and empathetic Young People's Counselling Specialist to join our team at WhereToTalk. As a key member of our team, you will provide 1-2-1 therapeutic interventions and counselling for young people aged 11-25 through our Talk@HOME service.
About the JobThis is an exciting opportunity to work with our team to deliver high-quality support to young people in Barnsley. You will be responsible for providing therapy sessions, conducting initial assessments, and maintaining accurate records. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to engage with clients effectively, while your ability to adapt to changing situations will be essential in this fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality therapy sessions to young people aged 11-25 through the Talk@HOME service.
- Conduct initial assessments and allocate young people to members of the Talk@HOME team.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.
- Support bank counsellors in practical aspects such as building access and necessary paperwork.
We offer a competitive salary of £**£28,000 - £32,000 per annum**, depending on experience. Our benefits package includes 38 days' annual leave (pro rata), a range of training opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
