**Job Title:** PhD in Superconductor Science
The University of Cambridge is offering a fully-funded PhD studentship in the field of superconductor science. This project aims to investigate the use of bulk superconductors in shaping and enhancing magnetic fields, with a focus on seeded melt growth and magnet design.
**Research Objectives:
- To study the superconducting properties of bulk superconductors using various experimental techniques
- To develop new methods for shaping and processing bulk superconductors
- To analyse the magnetic field profiles and compare them with simulations
