Data Science Research Associate

About the Role: As a Data Science Research Associate, you will use your experience in data science techniques and Python programming to develop and implement automation tools that will improve our security analysis processes. Your PhD in any technical area or equivalent research background will be highly valued, as well as your strong analytical and organisational skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A PhD in any technical area or equivalent research background
- Experience in data science techniques (statistics, clustering, classification)
- Experience in Python programming
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
Desirable Skills: Experience with software engineering best practices (object-oriented code, continuous integration, unit testing) would be an advantage.
Salary and Benefits: The estimated salary for this role is £70,000 - £90,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additional benefits include 23 days' holiday + public holidays, rising to 25 days after 2 years, private medical insurance, life insurance of 4 times base salary, a salary sacrifice pension scheme, enhanced family leave, and a confidential Employee Assistance Program.
