Role: Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant

A prestigious and award-winning group of Special Educational Needs (SEN) schools is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their permanent staff team at an outstanding site in the UK, starting January 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic team committed to transforming the lives of children with Special Educational Needs. The successful candidate will work alongside skilled teachers and multidisciplinary teams to support children with a range of needs, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families to implement individual education plans (IEPs).

We are encouraging applications from individuals with a passion for SEN education, including those with experience in primary or secondary settings and expertise in working with children with ASD or ADHD.

Key Requirements:

  1. A genuine interest in working with children with SEN.
  2. UK experience supporting children with ASD, ADHD, or other additional needs is highly desirable.
  3. Relevant qualifications or training (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or SEN qualifications) are advantageous but not essential.
  4. Enhanced and Clear DBS and UK Citizenship.
