Job Title: Operational Technology Project Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Operational Technology Project Manager to join our team at ENWL. As a key member of our Operational Technology team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the successful delivery of technology system changes and/or upgrades, ensuring the project is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning and Execution: Develop project plans outlining scope, goals, deliverables, resources, budget, and timelines; Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the efficient execution of the project; Ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Stakeholder Management: Engage with stakeholders to understand their requirements and expectations; Maintain regular communication with stakeholders to provide updates on project progress and address any issues.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies; Monitor project risks and issues and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate project team members; Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and ensure they are completed satisfactorily.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the project meets the quality standards required; Ensure all relevant standards and policies are complied with.
- Budget Management: Manage project budget, ensuring costs are controlled and financial targets are met; Prepare and present budget reports to programme manager.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain comprehensive project documentation; Prepare and present regular project status reports to stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Project Management Experience: Proven experience in managing technology projects, ideally network management system projects; Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
- Technical Knowledge: Knowledge and experience of working with network management systems and related technologies; Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership and Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills; Ability to matrix manage and lead cross-functional teams and manage stakeholder relationships effectively.
- Problem-Solving and Decision-Making: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure; Ability to anticipate issues and proactively develop solutions.
- Organisational Skills: Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks; Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
