Electricity North West has a great opportunity for an experienced PMO Officer in Walkden, and the role comes with a salary of up to £45,000.00 (depending on experience) and excellent benefits.

The PMO Officer will play a significant role in the coordination of projects at the programme level. This includes work across the RAID, (Risks Actions, Issues and Decisions), Programme level Management Information and reporting, project finance, dependency tracking, benefits realisation tracking and oversight of methodologies under Prince2 principles, and the Project Delivery Lifecycle.

As a PMO Officer, you will have matrix management responsibility and will be responsible for building relationships within the programme and product change manager community, the wider IT team including networks, infrastructure, and key business stakeholders. Excellent communication skills are therefore key to success in the role.

In your first few weeks in this PMO role, you can expect to:

- Handle project and programme planning, milestone management, scope management, resource forecasting, financial management, dependency tracking and change management by collating and consolidating management information and portfolio status reporting
- Report on the project and programmes delivery at the portfolio level in terms of quality, timeliness and costs
- Support the management of escalated project risks, issues and dependencies to ensure successful outcomes
- Support preparation of cost-benefit analyses to support business case development and the implementation of projects.
- Experience working with SAP, financial control and Chime projects
- Experience working on projects and issues of high complexity that require in-depth knowledge across multiple technical areas and business segments
- PRINCE2, PMI, MSP or similar qualified is desirable
- A good customer and stakeholder focus.
