About the Role

We are seeking an experienced eCommerce Operations Manager to join our team at Woolroom. As a mid-level management position, this role offers a lot of opportunities for growth within the organisation.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the Shopify Plus platform, excellent project management skills, and a deep passion for enhancing customer experience. You will drive both regional businesses (ROW & NA) to achieve their commercial growth objectives and in turn drive the overall global business, at scale and at pace.

Responsibilities and Requirements

This role requires a talented individual who can lead and collaborate with internal teams, such as marketing, customer service, and external partners to ensure that all aspects of the e-commerce operation align with the business objectives. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the overall use of the Shopify Plus platform, ensuring it's optimised for the store's needs.
  • Developing and implementing strategies for online marketing, sales, and operations.
  • Leading the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns.
  • Ensuring that the online store provides a seamless and satisfying experience for customers.
  • Maintaining online security measures to protect customer data and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Staying updated with e-commerce trends, Shopify updates, and best practices to continually innovate and adapt the store's strategies and technologies.

Required qualifications and experience include:

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in global eCommerce operations management.
  • Proven experience managing Shopify Plus platforms, with a strong understanding of its capabilities, limitations, apps, and third-party integrations.
  • Experience in digital marketing, SEO, PPC, Email marketing, and social media.
  • Strong knowledge of merchandising and monetisation strategies.
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with eCommerce analytics tools.

Preferred experience includes prior Shopify Plus migrations and integrations project experience, experience in the lifestyle, wellness, or home goods sector, understanding of both B2C and B2B marketing strategies, and knowledge of sustainable practices and eco-friendly product marketing.
