Key Responsibilities

  • Platform Management: Oversee the overall use of the Shopify Plus platform, ensuring that it's optimised for the store's needs. This includes managing technical aspects such as API integrations, promo/discount engine management, plugins, and other tools that enhance website functionality.
  • Strategy Development: Develop and implement strategies for online marketing, sales, and operations. This often involves setting clear objectives for traffic growth, sales targets, customer acquisition, and retention.
  • Marketing and Sales Oversight: Lead the planning and execution of digital marketing campaigns including SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, and content marketing. Manage budgets and analyse the effectiveness of these campaigns to adjust strategies as needed.
  • Customer Experience Management: Ensure that the online store provides a seamless and satisfying experience for customers. This includes overseeing website design, user interface, and user experience improvements.

  • (CRO) Personalisation: Using customer data to create personalised experiences. This can include personalised product recommendations, tailored email marketing campaigns, or custom promotions based on browsing behaviour.
  • (CRO) Analytics and Data Analysis: Utilising analytical tools to track user behaviour and conversion funnels. This data is then analysed to identify areas where users drop off or where improvements can be made to increase conversions.
  • (CRO) Customer Feedback: Gathering and acting on customer feedback to improve the user experience. This could be through direct surveys, usability testing, or analysing customer support interactions
  • (CRO) Speed Optimisation: Ensuring the store loads quickly on all devices as speed is a crucial factor in keeping potential customers engaged and reducing bounce rates.
