Job Title: SENCO - Lead Teacher Full-time Booking possibility
About the Role: Prospero Teaching is seeking a highly skilled and experienced SENCO to join one of our client schools on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the school's SEND provision, ensuring that students with special educational needs have access to the curriculum and receive the support they need to succeed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the school's SEND provision, ensuring that students with special educational needs have access to the curriculum and receive the support they need to succeed
- Work closely with teaching staff to identify and support students with SEND
- Develop and implement strategies to improve the inclusion of students with SEND in mainstream lessons
- Provide professional guidance and support to colleagues on SEND-related matters
- Collaborate with external agencies to ensure that students with SEND receive the support they need
Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- A strong understanding of the principles of inclusive teaching and SEND
- Experience of working with students with a range of SEND
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
