Strategic Business Development Executive for Aerospace and Defence

This is a dynamic opportunity to drive new business growth in the aerospace and defence sector. As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new sales opportunities, as well as upselling and cross-selling to existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business leads and opportunities
  2. Pursue new sales leads through door-to-door canvassing and business-to-business engagement
  3. Brief and manage relationships with key decision-makers at target companies
  4. Develop and implement tailored sales strategies to meet client needs and exceed targets
  5. Monitor and analyse sales performance, providing regular feedback and insights to inform future strategy

Salary Estimate: £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, dependent on experience

Requirements:
  • Proven track record in business development or sales
  • Strong understanding of the aerospace and defence sector
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
  • Degree level qualification in a relevant field (e.g. business, marketing, engineering)
