The Role:

This position offers the opportunity to work with children with learning disabilities, including Autism, ADHD, and non-verbal communication. As a Learning Disability Children's Residential Support Worker, you will provide care, guidance, and support in line with Ofsted regulations. You will create a safe and supportive atmosphere that focuses on health, education, and personal development.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with Autism, ADHD, or non-verbal communication. Knowledge of Makaton or PEC's is a plus. You will also need a valid UK/EU manual driving licence and be willing to work a rolling rota with sleep-in shifts. Additionally, an enhanced DBS and safer recruitment checks are mandatory.

The Salary:

The estimated salary for this position is around £28,500 - £33,200 per annum, based on the national average for the location. This includes £11.90 - £12.70 per hour plus £60 per sleep-in. Our benefits package includes a company pension (3% employer contribution), 224 hours annual leave, double pay on Bank Holidays, training and NVQ qualifications provided, and an employee wellbeing service.
