This pivotal role will have strategic leadership responsibility for corporate and clinical governance, risk management, and assurance portfolio.
Main Responsibilities- Provide expert guidance on regulatory requirements and drive improvements in clinical governance.
- Foster a culture of quality and safety within the organization.
- Lead the interface between management and governance arrangements, ensuring high standards of reporting and debate.
- Manage the governance and assurance portfolio, including risk management and quality improvement initiatives.
- Master's degree or equivalent postgraduate level ability and experience.
- Appropriate professional and leadership qualification.
- Evidence of Continuous Professional Development, including leadership development.
- Project management qualification or relevant experience.
- Registered Nurse, Midwife, or Allied Health Professional with a current registration of a relevant professional body.
- Post management/leadership qualification or willingness to undertake a postgraduate certificate in management/leadership in an infection control setting.
- QSIR (or equivalent).
- Coaching qualification (or equivalent).
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Self-motivated, enthusiastic, innovative, and flexible.
- Approachable, open-style manager.
- Assertive and able to deal with conflict.
- Ability to travel as required.
