Compensation and Land Rights Professional

The primary purpose of this role is to undertake the acquisition of land/rights in land and carry out compensation work on major utility and infrastructure projects. This includes working on nationally significant infrastructure projects, as well as other major and minor transportation projects.
Responsibilities and DeliverablesYour key responsibilities will include:
- Acquiring land/rights in land for various projects, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations;
- Developing and implementing effective compensation strategies to ensure fair and timely compensation for affected parties;
- Providing expert advice and guidance to clients, stakeholders, and colleagues on land rights acquisition and compensation matters;
- Managing and maintaining accurate records and databases related to land rights acquisitions and compensation;
- Staying up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A degree in a relevant field, such as land law, surveying, or a related discipline;
- Proven experience in land rights acquisition, compensation, and project management;
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills;
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
