Job Summary

East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a full-time Consultant in Neuro-rehabilitation to provide out-patient and ward referral services, as well as in-patient support to the neuro-rehabilitation ward.

Main Responsibilities

The Consultant will be responsible for the care of patients, undertaking administrative duties, and cooperating with the Clinical Director and Care Group Management on organizational and budget issues.

Key Duties
  • Provide inpatient and outpatient neurological clinical care
  • Develop specialist interests and make contributions to service development, research, and teaching
  • Participate in audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and structured judgement reviews
  • Uphold and model the Trust Values
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration
  • Experience in inpatient and outpatient neurological clinical care
  • Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English
  • Candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to travel effectively between sites
About Us

The successful applicant will join a team of 10 Consultant Neurologists, 2 Consultant Neurophysiologists, and a Rehabilitation Consultant. The Trust has close links with the King's College Hospital Regional Neuroscience Centre at Denmark Hill in London.
