Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Neuro-Rehabilitation Consultant to join our team at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our neurosciences department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide out-patient and ward referral services to the Trust, including in-patient support to the neuro-rehabilitation ward.
  • Develop and implement specialist interests, contributing to service development, research, and teaching.
  • Participate in audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and structured judgement reviews.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless patient care and effective communication.
Requirements
  • Full GMC Registration and CCST Specialist Registration in Rehabilitation Medicine or equivalent.
  • Higher Degree (MD/PhD or equivalent) and experience in delivering a Spasticity service.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to converse easily with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English.
  • Ability to travel effectively between sites and adhere to the Trust's Vision, Mission, and Values.
