We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced medical professional to join our team as a Consultant in Neuro-rehabilitation at East Kent Hospitals University NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will provide out-patient and ward referral services to the Trust, as well as in-patient support to the neuro-rehabilitation ward.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality inpatient and outpatient neurological clinical care
- Provide expert advice and guidance to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Participate in audits, morbidity and mortality reviews, and structured judgement reviews
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care
- Professional Qualifications: Full GMC Registration, Higher Degree (MD/PhD or equivalent)
- Experience in delivering a Spasticity service
- Ability to converse at ease with customers and provide advice in accurate spoken English
- Participation in clinical governance activities, including audits and morbidity and mortality reviews
