Business Development Manager

A leading waste management and recycling company is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to join their team in Leicester. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the wastepaper industry, with a minimum of 2-5 years of experience working in the waste management and recycling sector.
The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and sourcing potential commercial opportunities and long-term business partnerships in line with Company objectives. They will also support Commercial in ensuring tenders, offers, and other contract submissions are delivered accurately to a high quality and on time.
The role requires a strong understanding of recovered paper and other recycling material qualities, as well as knowledge of UK and European waste and recycling legislation. The ideal candidate will also have experience in developing tenders and be able to work under pressure.
The salary for this position is estimated to be around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include 33 days of annual leave, a company reward/discount scheme, and a car allowance.
