Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Analyst - Product Optimisation Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our Merchandising team, you will play a vital role in crafting compelling and persuasive copy that drives online sales and enhances the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimise content to create high-quality, engaging, and conversion-focused copy for deal pages.
  • Drive conversions by using persuasive language and including all pertinent copy depending on deal category to encourage users to engage and buy.
  • Ensure that product titles and pickers are clear and usable, and work with our design team to ensure that we have the best images and videos in the right order.
  • Incorporate SEO best practices into copywriting to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • Collaborate with the Product Team to design and execute A/B tests on copy variations and product picker and image options, analyse results, and implement changes to optimise conversion rates.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone of voice to maintain a recognisable brand identity.
  • Monitor and analyse key performance metrics related to content effectiveness and conversion rates, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in ecommerce optimising, copywriting, or a related field.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Strong understanding of ecommerce platforms, customer journeys, and online shopping behavior.
  • Solid understanding of SEO principles and experience in incorporating SEO into content strategy.
  • Ability to analyse data and metrics to inform content strategy and measure the effectiveness of copy.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
