Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Visual Merchandising Analyst to join our team at WHSmith. As a key member of our Space and Format team, you will play a critical role in driving commercial growth and optimizing our retail spaces.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement visual merchandising strategies to enhance customer experience and drive sales growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze data and identify opportunities for space optimization.
  • Design and implement planograms to ensure effective product placement and visual appeal.
  • Build relationships with suppliers to negotiate range merchandising and product positioning.
  • Manage range and store grading to ensure the right product is in the right place.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of competitor ranges and display techniques.

Requirements

  • Relevant work experience in a visual merchandising role or retail with experience in planogram management.
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to interpret detailed reports.
  • Working knowledge of space planning software and back-end interfacing.
  • Strong commercial skills and market interpretation.
  • Engaging, influencing, and negotiation skills.
