We are seeking a highly skilled Merchandise Analyst to join our team at Wowcher. As a key member of our Merchandising team, you will play a vital role in crafting compelling and persuasive copy that drives online sales and enhances the customer journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Optimise Content: Create high-quality, engaging, and conversion-focused copy for deal pages.
  • Drive Conversions: Use persuasive language and include all pertinent copy depending on deal category to encourage users to engage and buy.
  • SEO Integration: Incorporate SEO best practices into copywriting to improve search engine rankings and drive organic traffic.
  • A/B Testing: Collaborate with the Product Team to design and execute A/B tests on copy variations and product picker and image options, analyse results, and implement changes to optimise conversion rates.
  • Brand Consistency: Ensure all content aligns with the brand's tone of voice to maintain a recognisable brand identity.
  • Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyse key performance metrics related to content effectiveness and conversion rates, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in eCommerce optimising, copywriting, or a related field.
  • Writing Skills: Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Understanding of eCommerce: Strong understanding of eCommerce platforms, customer journeys, and online shopping behavior.
  • SEO Knowledge: Solid understanding of SEO principles and experience in incorporating SEO into content strategy.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse data and metrics to inform content strategy and measure the effectiveness of copy.
  • Communication: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
