Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Mental Health Worker to join our CAMHS team in Dumfries and Galloway. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing assessment and intervention services to children and young people with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based interventions and therapies to support children and young people's mental health and wellbeing
- Collaborate with families, carers, and other service providers to ensure a holistic approach to care
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of the CAMHS service
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of assessments, interventions, and outcomes
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a professional qualification in mental health and a current registration with a relevant governing body. You should also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, young people, and their families.
