NHS Dumfries & Galloway's Primary Care Mental Health Service is seeking a skilled professional to join their team as a Primary Care Mental Health Nurse. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and contribute to the development and transformation of the service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support GP practices with triage and completion of mental health assessments
- Deliver brief therapeutic interventions and work in partnership with Primary Care, Home teams, Secondary Care Mental Health Services, and Third Sector Agencies
- Work closely with patients and carers to provide effective support and guidance
- Develop and maintain good knowledge of local mental health support services
Requirements:
- Confident and skilled in working in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in partnership with patients, carers, and other stakeholders
- Flexibility and enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment
