We are seeking a highly skilled Safeguarding Social Worker to join our team at the Northamptonshire Children's Trust. As a key member of our safeguarding and assessment teams, you will play a critical role in protecting and promoting the welfare of children and young people.

With a strong commitment to relationship-based practice, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing interventions to safeguard children and support families in crisis. Your work will involve collaboration with various professionals and agencies to ensure the best outcomes for the children in your care.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £38,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience. If you are passionate about supporting children and young people, and have a strong commitment to delivering high-quality social care, we would love to hear from you.

About the role

  • To deliver and provide social work services, at a level appropriate for a professionally qualified post, to children and families to ensure the welfare of children and young people is safeguarded and they are protected in accordance with the legal and statutory obligations of Northamptonshire Children's Trust.
  • You will be an experienced qualified, registered social worker, who has completed your ASYE and have the commitment and passion to be at the forefront of delivering best practice and support to children, young people and families.
