Job Description

The Junior Credit Controller will be responsible for managing and maintaining client accounts, ensuring timely debt collection, and minimizing financial risk. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain client accounts
  • Ensure timely debt collection and minimize financial risk
  • Prepare accurate reports on credit control activity
  • Work closely with the accounting and finance team to streamline processes
  • Adhere to all relevant financial regulations and company policies
  • Negotiate payment plans and set up terms and conditions
  • Other ad hoc tasks to support the wider finance team

Requirements

  • Strong communication skills and confident telephone manner
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Tenacity and resilience
  • Exposure to working in a finance department, some finance administration experience ideal
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills
