Role Overview
We are seeking a Special Educational Needs Professional to join our team at Teaching Personnel. As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with a child in Reception with complex needs, providing tailored support to help them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating and delivering engaging and adaptive learning activities to suit the child's individual needs.
- Building strong relationships with teachers, parents, and external specialists to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Providing personalized support and guidance to the child, promoting independence and confidence.
- Maintaining accurate records of progress and participation.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience working with children with SEN, particularly in a primary or early years setting.
- Knowledge of strategies and interventions to support children with complex needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive and flexible approach to problem-solving.
