Job Title: Special Education Professional

We are seeking dedicated and compassionate professionals to join our team in Wigan, supporting children with special educational needs. This role involves educating children with autism and SEMH needs, communicating effectively with both the children and their families to ensure each child's individual needs are met.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop tailored learning strategies and activities for children with special educational needs.
  2. Implement Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs) focusing on specific needs and goals.
  3. Provide specialist support to children with autism using appropriate techniques to enhance their learning experiences.
  4. Care for young children ensuring a safe, stimulating, and engaging environment.
  5. Collaborate with other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each child's development.
  6. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate these findings to relevant stakeholders.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in special education or a related field is desirable.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with children and families.
  • Experience working with children particularly those with autism is highly desirable.
  • A compassionate patient and inspiring approach to educating and supporting children.
  • DBS check required valid Driver's Licence advantageous.

Salary: £28,000 per annum.
