About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate education professional to support educators in providing a nurturing and effective learning environment for children with special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the lead teacher in delivering educational programmes tailored to the needs of students, particularly those with special educational needs.
  • Support children in their learning activities, providing guidance and encouragement to enhance their understanding and skills.
  • Help manage classroom behaviour by implementing strategies that promote positive interactions among students.
  • Facilitate communication between students, teachers, and parents to ensure a cohesive approach to each child's education.
  • Participate in the planning and preparation of learning materials and resources for classroom activities.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the lead teacher regarding individual development.
  • Assist with daily routines, including toddler care, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all children.
Requirements
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, educators, and parents.
  • Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or special educational needs.
  • Ability to educate and engage students through creative teaching methods.
  • Patience and empathy when dealing with diverse learning abilities.
  • Knowledge of special education practices and principles.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being able to take initiative when required.
