Estimated Salary: £7,800 per month (based on 95 GBP per day)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to support a young student with Tourette's Syndrome in our dedicated SEN school in Wythenshawe. The ideal candidate will have a calm and professional demeanour when managing behaviours related to the condition.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Offer compassionate support without reacting inappropriately to the students verbal or physical tics
  • Use strategies to help the child focus and stay engaged with learning activities
  • Foster a respectful, inclusive, and understanding classroom environment
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS certificate registered with the online update service or willingness to apply
  • Two professional references, preferably from roles involving SEN experience
