Job Title: Mobile Operations Director

City Group Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mobile Operations Director to lead our Mobile Patrol business unit in the UK.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the Mobile Patrol business unit, ensuring that all aspects of the business are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes managing a team of mobile security personnel, overseeing the deployment of mobile patrols, and ensuring that all clients receive excellent service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the P&L of the Mobile Patrol business unit, ensuring all costs are kept to a minimum and the efficiency of patrol routes is maximized.
  • Work with the Chief Operating Officer and other members of the Executive team to develop and implement business growth strategies.
  • Monitor and manage the performance of the Mobile Team, ensuring that all staff are fully trained and improving.
  • Implement a safety culture within the driving team and ensure that all vehicles are fitted with appropriate tracking and safety solutions.
  • Ensure all processes are followed by Mobile staff and identify opportunities to improve business processes.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with sub-contractors and clients.
  • Design, introduce, and implement new service initiatives to drive business growth.
  • Complete and communicate the monthly roster to ensure Mobile is fully covered.
  • Ensure excellent service delivery from the Mobile Team, including accurate reports and all shifts covered correctly.
  • Ensure the Smart Task system is fully up to date and accurate at all times.
  • Deal with client requests and changes at short notice promptly and efficiently.
  • Monitor and manage all vehicles and carry out quarterly key audits.
Requirements:
  • SIA License and DBS check.
  • Mobile patrol experience is essential for this role.
  • UK driving licence with less than 6 current points.
  • Exceptional attendance and strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills, including responding to emails and verbal requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Ability to work to tight deadlines and under pressure.
  • Knowledge of computer programs (MS Office).

The successful candidate will be a self-starter, comfortable working on their own and flexing their hours to manage the business and their team. They will also need to be able to maintain complete confidentiality on the content of the Company business, personnel issues, and client information.
